For E!, pop culture is not something to observe from the sidelines. It is a living conversation shaped by fans, talent, and moments as they happen. The challenge was to bring that energy into the physical world in a way that felt immediate, relevant, and unmistakably E!.
We led the creative concept of transforming one of the largest digital out of home screens in Times Square into a live reflection of pop culture conversation. Using a dedicated hashtag, real time social posts were pulled directly into the screen, moderated, and displayed at city scale.
Rather than broadcasting a fixed message, the screen became a constantly evolving canvas, shaped by what people were saying in that moment. Tweets appeared, updated, and disappeared, allowing the campaign to stay current throughout the month long activation and reinforcing E!’s role as a pulse point for entertainment culture.
The execution was a media first for the Silvercast screen, demonstrating how social content can move beyond feeds and into shared public space. By elevating everyday conversation to one of the most visible stages in the world, the work turned pop culture commentary into spectacle.
The activation received industry recognition from the DPAA, Contagious, and The Drum, highlighting it as a benchmark for socially driven out of home creativity.
