SapientNitro was invited to pitch for an exclusive partnership opportunity within the Nestlé portfolio, bringing together two of its most iconic brands. The challenge was to create a creative platform that felt authentic to both KitKat and Nescafé, without forcing a connection.
Through market research, we identified a simple behavioural truth. Coffee and chocolate already come together naturally in moments of pause. A break is not defined by one product, but by the ritual that surrounds it.
We led the development of a creative platform built around this shared behaviour, positioning KitKat and Nescafé as complementary parts of the same everyday moment. Rather than promoting products separately, the work celebrated how people already consume them together.
Digital played a central role in expressing the idea, reflecting how audiences discover, share, and participate in these rituals online. Social first storytelling showcased relatable moments of pause, supported by dynamic out of home and television placements to scale awareness and reinforce familiarity.
The result was a unified creative system that allowed both brands to show up together in a way that felt natural, culturally grounded, and behaviour led. The work demonstrated how thoughtful platform thinking can unlock value across a brand portfolio without diluting individual identities.
